Job Functions
What will you do:
You will lead the strategy and management of all function projects/initiatives determined by the Head of Group Procurement to add value and deliver measurable efficiencies through a professional procurement service provided to the rest of the organization, while effectively managing the assigned team to achieve such goals.
- Service Strategy: understand the procurement strategy and it’s contribution to objectives ensure your day to day activities are aligned to these goals
- Service Delivery; ensure that all services are delivered to agreed standards and are achieving their objectives this will include
- Procurement Service Providers Supervision
- Procurement Performance, Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Policy, Manual and M-Power Approvals
- Stakeholder Management: manage internal stakeholders and represent in the market, to service providers, partners, relevant authorities and stakeholders.
- People Leadership: ensure all team members are engaged and motivated and have the capability and resources they need to perform.

DescriptionWhat will you bring:
To succeed in this role you will have a strong mix of practical experience, technical skills and business skills
- Bachelor degree in finance, business administration or equivalent. Preferably, master’s degree in finance, business administration or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in procurement/category management and/or other related business areas that will benefit Procurement in a recognized large-scale organization in the UAE.
- Proven track record of leading medium-to-large teams on multiple simultaneous initiatives, projects and deliverables with high quality and delivery standards
- Previous successful management of complex projects that required maintaining high levels of productivity and self-direction, setting priorities, and scheduling various activities Previous exposure to transformation, innovation and/or change management initiatives
- You will have the following business skills: strategic thinker, analytical thinking, problem solving, resilient, emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, results focused
- You will be a team player with high standards of business ethics and a drive to deliver, innovate and improve, whilst building strong partnerships within and outside.
