Head of Strategy

Job Functions

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and lead the Sales and the Sales Teams on a day-to-day basis;
  2. Achieve revenue, Average Revenue Per Account (ARPA) and KPI targets;
  3. Create and maintain a positive, competitive culture to drive high-performance;
  4. Ensure all team members are managing performance of all commercial activities with clear KPI metrics and have a clear plan for incremental improvement;
  5. Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with Sales Managers to support their development and drive results;
  6. Attract, develop and retain the best talent within the Commercial team;
  7. Recruit and hire new members of the Sales Team;
  8. Develop trusted and lasting relationships with all customers, forming close business relationships with Key Account decision makers;
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and collaborate with Marketing, Product, Tech, Finance and Pre-Sales teams to align on anything affecting customers or sales performance;
  10. Work closely with HR to ensure a clear plan for development of talent in the Sales team;
  11. Contribute to setting targets, KPI’s and commission schemes in line with company’s requirements;
  12. Provide regular forecasts & performance reports;
  13. Work closely with the management to set budgets and re-forecasts.

Skills

  1. Proven experience of minimum 5 years in a managerial real estate position in UAE;
  2. Extensive knowledge of the real estate industry with a deep knowledge of main competitors including their strategies and pricing models;
  3. Proven experience in sales and managing relationships with key clients;
  4. Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes;
  5. Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset;
  6. Excellent organizational and leadership skills with Outstanding negotiation, communication and interpersonal abilities;
  7. Goal orientated and target driven with a proven track record of success in a similar role;
  8. Excellent English proficiency, fluency in other languages is a plus.
